Argentine to Commemorate Workers Day With Multiple Activities

Buenos Aires, Apr 30 (Prensa Latina) With several latent claims, such as halting rate increases and layoffs, as well as a rise in salaries, several Argentinian trade unions and popular organizations are getting ready to commemorate International Workers'' Day tomorrow.
Marches of various labor unions, popular pots that will head three social groupings, and an act of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT) in which Brazilian former leader Dilma Rousseff who will be present, are part of that day that will take place in Buenos Aires.

Among the activities, the left-wing entity and that of workers (FIT) will hold a rally in the emblematic Plaza de Mayo, a few steps from the Casa Rosada, to demand the Government for the adjustment in the price increase, among other things, while the political arm 'Left-wing ahead for Socialism' will carry out a similar event, but from the Two Congresses Square.

As they have been demanding during these months in an urgent request to declare a food emergency law, the Clasista and Combativa Current (CCC), Barrios de Pie and the Confederation of the Popular Economy Workers (CTEP), will return to take to the streets the initiative of the popular pots, consisting in cooking in large saucepans food and giving it to the most needy.

In parallel they will also march from Constitución to the monument Canto al Trabajo, in which they will insist again in the approval of the law.
